  • News - Updated advisory fuel rates
    New rates. HMRC has updated its advisory fuel rates (AFRs) with effect from 1 March 2017. These are the rates for reimbursement of fuel costs which can be used by employers and employees to avoid the car fuel benefit in kind charge arising. HMRC allows you to use the previous rates until the end of March 2017. The table shows the new AFRs with the old ones in brackets. VAT too.
